These pedals have a 2-hole cleat system. With that in mind, there are different types of shoes to choose from depending on your personal preference: casual cycling shoes, mountain bike shoes (MTB), or road cycling shoes. As long as your shoes have 2-hole cleats, they will work with these pedals.
What is the difference between a belt drive and a chain drive system?
A belt drive system has a belt that connects the pedals to the wheels for a smooth ride. A chain drive system uses a chain to connect the wheels to the pedals and the feeling and sound of a chain may feel similar to riding a bike outdoors.
What type of resistance does this bike have?
This bike has leather pad resistance. A leather pad is used to apply pressure to the flywheel through varying degrees of contact. The resistance can be adjusted by twisting a micro-tension knob.
